Taco Turkey Cabbage Skillet

Ingredients
- 907 g cabbage
- 454 g 99% lean ground turkey
- 340 g peppers and onions
- 411 g diced tomatoes, drained
- 10 mL olive oil
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- lime juice
- cayenne to taste

Method
- Brown the ground turkey in a very large skillet or wok with about half the olive oil, breaking it into small pieces. Remove and set aside.
- Add the cabbage and peppers and onions to the skillet.
- Cook uncovered over medium-high to high heat for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage softens while still keeping some texture.
- Add the chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, oregano, and cayenne. Cook for 30-60 seconds, stirring constantly.
- Return the turkey to the skillet along with the drained diced tomatoes.
- Add lime juice to taste. Toss thoroughly and serve.
