Ingredients
907 g cabbage
454 g lean ground turkey
255 g drained black beans
411 g diced tomatoes, drained
170 g peppers
10 mL olive oil
2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
lime juice
Round whole items like eggs to what makes sense.
Method
Brown the ground turkey in a very large skillet or wok with about half the olive oil, breaking it into small pieces. Remove and set aside.
Add the cabbage and peppers to the skillet.
Cook uncovered over medium-high to high heat for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage softens while still keeping some texture.
Add the chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, and garlic powder. Cook for 30-60 seconds, stirring constantly.
Return the turkey to the skillet along with the black beans and drained diced tomatoes.
Add lime juice to taste, toss thoroughly, and serve.
