High-Meat Beef Enchilada Casserole

Ingredients
1.35 kg / 3 lb lean ground beef
12-16 small corn tortillas
700-800 g enchilada sauce
150-200 g shredded cheese
24 g minced garlic
1 tbsp cumin
2 tsp paprika
cayenne to taste
chili powder to taste
modest salt
Round whole items like eggs to what makes sense.
Method
Heat the oven to 375°F / 190°C.
Brown the beef thoroughly.
Add abundant garlic, cumin, paprika, cayenne, and chili powder.
Spread a small amount of enchilada sauce over the bottom of a baking dish.
Add a layer of corn tortillas.
Add a substantial meat layer.
Spoon enchilada sauce over the meat.
Add only a modest amount of cheese.
Repeat the tortilla, meat, sauce, and cheese layers.
Finish with tortillas, sauce, and a relatively light cheese layer.
Bake until bubbling and heated throughout.
Rest briefly before slicing.
